UVic events: November 29 Explore UVic (on-campus) is the best way for students and parents to experience all of UVic, all in one day. They’ll have a chance to take part in exciting lectures, student panels, tours, information fairs and more at our biggest event of the year! November 18 Entrepreneurship 101 (virtual) will help students begin to evaluate and grow their side-hustle idea with insights from UVic faculty, guests and industry experts, while giving them a taste of university-level entrepreneurship. November 20 Finance 101 (virtual) will equip students with practical skills in managing money, building credit, saving and investing to prepare for university life and future financial independence. November 22 GoENG Girl 2025: Engineering for Every Body (on-campus) is designed to introduce high school girls, non-binary and gender-diverse youth to the world of engineering, including an inspiring keynote speaker, interactive expo and main design challenge.

Simon Fraser University – SFU-Exeter Accelerated Law Program – SFU is now offering B.C.’s first and only undergraduate dual law degree program in partnership with the University of Exeter in the UK. Students can earn both a BA (Bachelor of Arts) from SFU and an LLB (Bachelor of Law) from Exeter – and no LSAT is required. This unique program fast-tracks students toward becoming a lawyer in Canada in just six years, combining academic excellence, global experience, and practical legal training.
