Butchart Gardens – Seasonal hiring in these areas: Food Services:  Waitstaff, cashiers, buspersons, and counter-service persons.  Visitor Services: Primarily an outdoor position, responsibilities include pedestrian and vehicle traffic control, grounds maintenance, collecting admissions. Custodial Services: Work both indoors and outdoors.  Maintenance of administrative buildings, visitor and staff washroom facilities, and garbage collection. Seed & Gift Store: Work both behind-the-scenes and with our visitors. Requires extensive merchandise knowledge, cash transactions, unpacking, stocking and reconciling paperwork. Gardening: Primarily outdoor positions or work in our Plant Identification Centre.  Most positions require eight-hour shifts  and require good public relations skills. 25-40 hours of work per week.  Shifts will vary and weekend and evening work is required.
